Nourishing, not oily and amazing smell
I have dry hair so this really helps but doesn’t make it greasy and I can still last a few days without a shampoo if I put this in wet. Smells amazing also.
Would love to see Shu adopt more healthy ingredients though but still love it.

Expensive but worth it. A little goes a long way.
I've been using this hair oil for a year now (I purchased this at last year's November sale), I was reluctant to purchase this at first because I thought it's so expensive for a hair treatment oil, and it's only 150mL! But I decided to give it a try due to its popularity and high-rating reviews.
I have fine, dry limp hair, a little damaged from constant perming & dying. On average, I use this hair oil once every 4-5 days, I did not use it every day since I wanted to use up and finish my other leave-in hair treatment products. I only need to use 1 pump for my medium-length hair (a little over the shoulder kind of hair length). And at this pace, after 1 year, I only used 1/3 of the 150 mL bottle. A little goes a long way! So even though the price for a 150 mL bottle seems very expensive at first, but 1 bottle will last for a very long time, so it's actually worth it.
Now to talk about the product itself, It is lightweight (does not weight my fine hair down), adds a healthy shine and hydration to my hair. I was worried hair oil will make my hair look greasy but it doesn't. The scent is pleasant but a bit strong - the scent bugged me at first because I use mostly unscented facial & hair products. But the end result of using this is definitely worth it! I love how my hair looks after applying this.
Only complaint is that I find a lot of Shu's skincare and haircare products have strong fragrances, I hope Shu can start making their products light scented.

Beyond exceptional like what others say.
I have used this product for a year now, and it is my holy grail hair oil. Because of the price, I don't use it every day but if you get it during Shu VIP event, they really only come to $50 pre-tax which is equivalent to two bottles of hair oil from other hair salon brands i.e. trade secrets. I'm Asian with thin black hair and my hair likes to tangle a lot during the winter. I have used joico and Schwarzkopf hair oil before and they never show me any immediate results. This product will leave my hair lightweight and so soft immediately after application - it works wonders.

Worth the $
This product is definitely better than other hair oils. The fragrance is wonderful and the texture isn't greasy. It softens my hair without weighing it down. I have fine, slightly wavy hair in a slightly layered cut and I just apply essence absolue after the shower and let it air-dry.
The cost of this product makes me uncomfortable, but it's truly worth the investment. I really do find it's superior to other oils, which leave my hair greasy.

Perfect amount of oil
This does not leave your hair oily and smells great. Love it before blow drying my hair. I have lots of thick straight hair and it's great when I apply it when my hair is damp and then blow dry and straighten.

Leaves hair soft & smells amazing!
This product makes my hair feeling so soft even after all the colouring and blow-dry heat that it goes through. The oil is so hydrating. Sometimes when my hands are dry, I'll even rub it on them.
And it has an AMAZING smell too.
The one drawback is the price. I'm on a student budget and it's not something I can buy often.

Amazing...
After the first time I tried this oil, I threw all the other oils I had spent a collective fortune on, in the garbage. Buy it. You will not be disappointed. Use it on damp hair before drying, add it to conditioner, work it into dry ends during the day and apply liberally as an overnight treatment. Now I am worried it will be discontinued....may buy a few to store....

This is a must-have item if you have frizzy hair.
It will not weight down your hair and no residue at all.
It seems expensive but only a dab of oil will work fine with medium length hair.
Sure will buy again when mine runs out.

I do not any purchased items unless I find it to be exceptional - this hair oil is beyond exceptional. I have tried many brands, from drugstore to high end, but none delivers like this product.
I recently dyed my hair so that the bottoms were intensively bleached. If you have ever bleached your hair, you know that touching your hair feels similar to petting straw pieces. I always look for products to not only nourish my hair and make it look healthy, but it also needs to feel healthy and smooth.
I use this product after it has been blow dried or naturally air dried. It makes my hair soft to the touch and shiny! The difference between my natural hair and my bleach-dyed hair is not noticeable - it is amazing!! It does all this without weighing down my hair or making it look greasy. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants their hair to be shinier, softer, or appear less damaged. AMAZING! Please do not EVER discontinue this product!!

This oil is magic
I am utterly smitten with this oil - I started using it about 4 months ago, and I feel like my hair ends are substantially healthier, plus it's not heavy, and not that smelly so it's not distracting. There is no comparison between this oil and moroccan oil that I was using prior - I will ONLY use this oil going forward, it's totally worth the cost. I have very fine hair, but lots of it, and use 3 squirts on freshly washed hair, and anticipate that my bottle will last me about 8-9 months.

A year of amazing hair!
I bought a bottle a year ago and this oil has worked its magic every day since! I have never felt great about the look of my hair when it is down (thicker, curly, dark) but using this oil has changed that perspective and I have never had so many compliments.
It has a beautiful smell, and my hair has a sheen that is natural and texture that is light. To say it changed my life, well, it changed my hair's life!
Now onto a new bottle!

Fantastic!

Incredible product
I've had this bottle for over a year now, I use it daily. I've used it after running outside and sweating at the gym to soften the dried ends. I've used it to tame frizz for my crazy curls, and as a serum for straightening. My favorite use is as a deep conditioner overnight treatment, I divide my hair into four sections apply one pump to each section comb or brush through and leave in overnight. In the morning my hair is so soft and healthier looking.
