how to apply eyeliner?
for hooded eyes, try liquid eyeliners for an effortlessly easy look to make your eyes stand out. use the calligraph:ink brown eyeliner and, turning it sideways, line the upper lash line for a crisp line. then select the lasting soft gel pencil eyeliner and tightline your eyes to fill in the gaps your liquid eyeliner missed. the pencil has a gel eyeliner formula, so it won’t tug at your eyes, while this technique makes your lashes look volumized. to open up your eyes, take your brown pencil eyeliner and create a few small dots at the root of your bottom lash line. apply mascara on your upper and lower lashes to complete your look.
how to do winged eyeliner?
when using black eyeliner, use a waterproof eyeliner formula to prevent smudging on your perfected lines. take your calligraph:ink liquid eyeliner and use the tip of the brush to create a thin wing. if you have hooded eyes, don’t flick the eyeliner up. Instead, make an eyeliner wing that extends straight past the end of your eye, or slightly downwards. this creates a gentle eyeliner shape that matches hooded eyes. with the calligraph:ink’s waterproof eyeliner formula, the eyeliner will set and last all day. then, connect the wing to your lash line by using the flat side of your eyeliner brush and use gentle strokes to hug your lash line. for monolid eyes, your eyelids tend to cover your lash line, so you can skip this step. instead, use a gel eye pencil like the lasting soft gel pencil eyeliner to tightline your lashes.
