For 1 eye shadow refill. shu uemura's pursuit of perfection takes form in this innovative palette case.

inspired by traditional Japanese craftwork, each element is created with careful precision. The jet-black palette has a rich, lacquered finish. While the lid and base of both have slightly different tones. This colour scheme is inspired by the harmony of the "wa", or traditional Japanese-style art. An eco-concept, seeking a design without glue, plastic frames or other elements that may end up in a landfill. shu uemura's refill palette is like a game, with one small movement you can change your eye shadow selection to match your every desire.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Useful to keep creamy eyeshadow definer gel separate from pressed eyeshadows I would recommend purchasing this product only if you are buying a creamy eyeshadow and want to keep it separate from pressed eyeshadows. This product is lesser value than the other cases based on the price. If you are a first time Shu fan, I would recommend purchasing the octo case instead of starting like I did with this one. I've ended up having to spend thirty dollars on Shu cases now (I have two mono cases, and one duo case). The cases are very minimalistic and made of plastic. Mine opens and closes with ease, so it is very functional. However, because it feels cheap (especially for how much you are paying) I do not think that the case reflects the high quality of the product it is meant to carry. I would be more likely to share images on Instagram of Shu Eyeshadows if the cases looked as prestigious as their products. Additionally, since Shu offers a free onto palette with the purchase of eight eyeshadows, I would recommend that Shu considers tracking the number of eyeshadows their customer's buy and then reward their customer's with a free octo case once eight eyeshadows have been purchased. It is hard for students to purchase eight eyeshadows all at one time, so we will likely not receive a free octo case even though we might eventually purchase eight eyeshadows over a longer period of time. Or, if Shu gave away free cases it might encourage their fans to purchase more eyeshadows in order to fill it. Due to the prices of Shu products I would rather spend my money on their makeup products rather than cases that consumers usually do not have to worry about purchasing in north america. Overall I am disappointed that we are required to pay such a high price for cases just to store the products. As a student, having to save money to pay for a case is definitely a barrier that prevents me from wanting to purchase more eyeshadows.
